Something good you can do right now

There’s a company called Kiva which specializes in micro-loans to people in need in impoverished countries. It’s important because people in those countries usually cannot find banks to make them loans to start businesses or other entrepreneurial projects that could lift them out of poverty. I bought my sister a Kiva gift card for Christmas and she has helped a Russian guy build a greenhouse to support his family. I’ve got invites to start a Kiva account with $25 of free money to loan out—you search through projects, pick one that you would like to support, and then finance it. When it’s paid back you can withdraw the money with interest or re-loan it. Click this link to sign up for the free starter account!
